FIRST TIME IN THE POOL.

Our volunteers will provide a risk assessment form, which must be completed before any use of the pool facilities are carried out for the first time by the member. Our volunteers will ask if we can be of any help or offer aids to assist with your exercise programme. It is a good way to meet new friends, exercise and have fun, not formal in any way. After your session you are advised to sit and rest in the waiting area whilst having a drink. (supplied free of charge)

Telford & Wrekin Arthritis Support Group is affiliated to 'Attend' (formerly National Association of Hospital & Community Friends) and is covered by public libility insurance.

Next Step

Once your application form and subscription has been received you will be sent the necessary forms for joining the Hydrotherapy sessions. 'Guidelines for users', which contains contact numbers, and a form which must be signed by your Doctor, Physiotherapist or Rheumatologist. You will also need to sign and date this form saying that you have read and understood the guidelines. When completed, contact the Support Group's Hydrotherapy Co-ordinator who will arrange with you a suitable time and session to attend.
